It should be noted that under the REDISSE IV-Angola project, 15 priority diseases have been identified, five of which are zoonotic diseases. In this context, the priority is to strengthen the epidemiological surveillance system by recruiting 20 epidemiologists for each province in order to immediately monitor and improve performance indicators and strengthen the national epidemiological surveillance system.
